The Octopus

Subtle beauty of Octopus inspired me to paint it on a bigger scale. After watching Netflix docu series "My octopus teacher". I couldn’t stop thinking about how marvelous these creatures are. Living their little lives in seaweed forests, incredibly intelligent, beautiful and sensitive. The fact that she was able to connect with human as if it was her kind is so amazing. Their bond was extraordinary! It makes me think that we know so little about animal world, that’s much bigger than all of us. We are equally important on this Earth, we are connected by invisible thread- that’s what the gold line represents -Perfect balance and harmony between the worlds. Gold is illuminating, sacred, durable; it is precious just as our connection to the Nature, there’s nothing like it.
